Every National Property Inspection Residential Inspection follows the State of Washington Standards of Practice as is required by law.  This standard includes the structural systems (foundation, walls, roof), mechanical systems (heating/cooling, water heater), utilities (electrical and plumbing) and much more.

  • Residential/Home Inspection - Sometimes referred to as a "general home inspection," these are usually booked after an offer is accepted on either brand new or existing housing. The inspection covers hundreds of components in the home and includes a COMPUTERIZED REPORT W/ SUMMARY clearly outlining safety concerns and the current condition of the home. The report is completed ON-SITE and gives buyers the information they need to make the best decision and prepare for future maintenance.
  • Mold Inspection - A professional mold inspection that can assist the consumer in determining root cause of a mold issue and the course of action required to prevent reoccurrence. Our Assessors do not perform remediation work to assure their clients of no conflict of interest. Pre-remediation and post remediation testing is provided. Multiple trained Assessors allows for prompt attention to project timelines, rapid response in emergency situations, and quality assurance to both residential and commercial clients that includes fast analytical laboratory reporting to assist client timelines and needs.
  • Radon Inspections - Our continuous radon monitor is a patented electronic detection device used for the measurement of radon gas. It is twice as sensitive as most radon monitors providing selectable test increments as low as half an hour.  U.S. Surgeon General Health Advisory advises, "Indoor radon gas is the second-leading cause of lung cancer in the United States and breathing it over prolonged periods can present a significant health risk to families all over the country. It's important to know that this threat is completely preventable. Radon can be detected with a simple test and fixed through well-established venting techniques." January 2005
  • Termite Inspections - The termite inspection is actually an inspection for wood-destroying insects and organisms. The inspector is also looking for ants, bugs and fungus. Sometimes, in areas where Subterranean termites are not uncommon, and in houses where there are no sub-areas, the attic may also need to be accessed and inspected.
  • Home Energy Audits - Energy Audits are a service that helps people lower their energy bills by identifying cost-effective technology upgrades. The Tune-uP report from our partner CMC gives you the information that you need to make an educated decision and lists the energy upgrades whose savings will pay for their investment.
  • Infrared Thermography - too much to explain in one paragraph so click here....
  • Well Water Quality Sampling - If your building draws its water from a private well, then the water quality should be tested.  Water drawn from a well may have contaminants such as bacteria, fertilizers, and road salts.  Many banks require that the water be tested for potability before they will grant a mortgage on a building with a private well.  Because each item tested has a different lab protocol, there are varying turn-around times for receiving test results.  This, combined with other delays in lab testing, means you may not be able to get the results immediately.  Have the water potability tested as soon as possible to avoid delays in your home purchase.
  • Well Flow Rate Testing - The Flow Rate test is a general overview of the well and pump system and a quantitative determination of the well and pump system's capability in gpm (Gallons per Minute).  Wells should produce a minimum of three gallons of water per minute, anything less than three gallons per minute will create hardships for the home owner.
  • Video Sewer Camera Scopes - Underground problems with your sewer line can cause expensive damage in your home. It can even cause sinkholes on your property, or in the alleys and streets. That is precisely why most municipal wastewater management divisions suggest that all homes have their sewer pipes inspected regardless of whether it is a new home purchase, a turn of the century home, or a home that is having minor sewer problems. Having your sewer pipe inspected can save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars.
