For more than a decade, I have led the region to build a better inspection company to provide the most accurate information for my clients at a reasonable - and guaranteed - price.
I have the best tools in the region, the widest range of experience, and not only know the rules required of home inspectors - As an appointed member of the State Home Inspector Advisory Board, I helped write them!
To do my upmost so that the Client is never surprised after the inspection.
I served on the State of Washington Home Inspector Advisory Board, appointed by then Governor Christine Gregoire. This is the board that sets the standards that all home inspectors in Washington must follow. Prior to that, I chaired the Changing Business Practices sub-committee which is involved in the development of new rules to as needed to protect the consumer.
I also served on the State Building Code Council for the State of Washington, appointed by Governor Jay Inslee.
I am the only inspector in this area that uses infrared technology (when warranted), sewer cameras, and a code book (for new construction) to make sure my clients are well served. All three live in my work vehicle (a Toyota FJ Cruiser that absolutely will get to your inspection on time, no matter where it is.)
I often get the question "Would you buy this home?" Ethically, I am not allowed to answer but this I can promise you - I will use every bit of my skills, knowledge and training to answer your questions and minimize your risk when buying your home.
WHAT SEPARATES A RUN-OF-THE-MILL INSPECTOR FROM A GREAT INSPECTOR?
I take the time to work with you to explain everything that I see and I do so with integrity, compassion and clarity. My job is not just to inspect the home - my job is also to explain the home.
My Home Inspection reports are the most detailed and easy to read and I always include digital pictures--"Pictures are worth a thousand words". The reports use a unique format that I developed specifically to make them more informative. I do the report on site and deliver it in an electronic format that greatly improves picture quality. And, unlike our competitors, we let you see a typical report (just contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I would be delighted to send the sample to you.)
I carry Errors and Omissions Insurance as well as General Liability. Not every inspector does because it is expensive. Always check to make sure that your inspector is protecting you. Ask to see the insurance binder. I always have mine with me and you will never offend me by asking to see it.
I designed my fees to provide the maximum value to you and they are competitive in the marketplace. My fees are based on the square footage of the home. I do not charge extra for older homes or for crawlspaces. I am the only inspector in this area that will post my fees. Everyone else will force you to call for a quote.

- "The very best inspections do not come cheap. And they shouldn't. Think about it; we're talking about your home, your biggest investment. The more wisely you spend your money in the beginning, the more money you'll save in the long run.
